We'll always have good memories of this beautiful place.

This was a wonderful retreat-- we loved the music of the swainson's thrush in the back woods (thanks to the generous neighbor who shares the woods). A white crowned sparrow serenaded us all day in the fron tyeard. The whole island is lovely with birdlife.

My mother, who is 84 says these the best sunsets she's seen in her entire life, "except for once in Scotland". The colors are like the JMW Turner paintings, as well as the mist on the morning water. Why is there a silvery-white line at the horizon?

We'll always have good memories of this beautiful place.
